Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of Ketch, a service that texts back callers when a business misses a call, answers their questions with AI, and alerts the business about new leads. By signing up or paying for Ketch, you agree to these terms.

The service

We set up call forwarding so unanswered calls to your business reach Ketch. When that happens, we text the caller from a number assigned to your business, answer their questions using the information you give us (such as hours, services and prices), and text you when someone needs a follow-up or reports an emergency.

The AI can make mistakes. You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you give us and for following up with your customers. Ketch does not book jobs, quote prices you haven't given us, or make commitments on your behalf.

Billing

• Plans are billed monthly in advance through our payment processor, Stripe.
• There's no contract. You can cancel anytime, and service continues until the end of the period you paid for.
• Refunds are covered by our refund and cancellation policy.
• We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice before your next billing date.

Your responsibilities

• You must be authorized to forward calls from the phone number you connect.
• You won't use Ketch to send spam, marketing messages, or anything unlawful, and you'll follow applicable laws about texting your customers.
• You're responsible for keeping your account login secure.

Text messages

Ketch sends conversational texts to people who called your business, and alert texts to the business contacts you choose. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts from that number, or HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Availability

We work to keep Ketch running at all times, but we depend on phone carriers and other providers and can't guarantee that every call or text will go through. The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Ketch isn't liable for lost profits, lost business, or indirect damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim.

Ending service

You can cancel anytime. We may suspend or end service if you break these terms or don't pay. When service ends, we stop texting on your behalf and you can remove call forwarding from your line.

Changes

We may update these terms. If we make a significant change, we'll let you know before it takes effect. Continuing to use Ketch after that means you accept the new terms.
