Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Ketch collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers the businesses that use Ketch and the people who call or text those businesses.

What we collect

• From businesses: owner name, phone number and email, business details (address, hours, services, prices, policies), and billing information, which is handled by Stripe. We don't store card numbers.
• From callers and texters: phone number, the time of the missed call, and the content of text messages exchanged with Ketch on the business's behalf.
• From our website: basic technical information such as browser type and pages visited.

How we use it

• To text back missed callers, answer their questions, and alert the business about leads and emergencies.
• To set up, bill for, and support the service.
• To keep the service secure and fix problems.

We don't sell personal information, and we don't use caller conversations for advertising.

Who we share it with

Conversations with a caller are shared with the business they called. We also use service providers that process information for us under contract:

• Twilio, to send and receive calls and text messages
• Anthropic, to generate AI replies
• Stripe, to process payments
• Our hosting, database and login providers, to run the service

We may also disclose information when required by law.

Text messaging

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties. Reply STOP to any Ketch message to opt out, or HELP for help.

How long we keep it

We keep business account information while the account is active. We keep conversation records for as long as the business uses Ketch, and delete them within 90 days after the business cancels, unless the law requires us to keep them longer.

Your choices

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your information by emailing ketchleads@gmail.com. If you texted a business that uses Ketch, you can also contact that business directly.

Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls, and reputable providers to protect information. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your information safe.

Children

Ketch is a business service and isn't directed at children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy and will post the new version here with a new date.
